Membership

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
Active members shall be individuals, partnerships, trusts, firms or corporations which own or are engaged in the operation of a facility that may be used or engaged to be used for social dancing. The operation shall have a minimum of 1500 square feet of a permanent floor designed for dancing and customarily charges an admission fee or membership dues. Dance and festival promoters, resorts, hotels, inns, retirement communities, catering facilities and other entities that host social dancing may become active members with the approval of the board of directors.
Some of the advantages of membership are lower music licensing rates, insurance referals, & free web space.
Yearly Active Membership dues start at $125.00

ENTERTAINMENT MEMBERSHIP
Entertainment memberships will be available to bandleaders, musicians, dance studios, dance teachers/instructors, agents, publishers, radio or TV stations, vendors, dance clubs or chapters, and other entities, with the approval of the board of directors, which are closely allied to promoting social dancing. Entertainment memberships shall have all the privileges of active memberships except voting.
Yearly Entertainment Membership dues $90.00

FRIENDS OF NBEA MEMBERSHIPS
Friend memberships are available to dancers and/or individuals wishing to contribute to the advancement of social dancing on a local, state, or national level.
Memberships will receive a complimentary CD, ballroom & band directory.
Yearly Associate Membership dues $25.00
(Note: any one or two people can be listed, but only one mailing address will be used.)
