The Tom Milo Big Band is a versatile organization
capable of playing a wide selection of music, ranging from the Glenn Miller tunes of the
40's to the contemporary hits of Whitney Houston.
The band adapts well to any kind of entertainment situation, be
it wedding receptions, private parties, stage shows, or a fund raiser dance. In
addition to backing up acts from New York to Las Vegas, the band has a small combo within
the larger group capable of playing most requests.
The caliber of the individual musicians is only the highest.
Many of the band members have toured with name organizations such as Stan Kenton,
Les Elgart, Duke Ellington, and others. The members in the band have studied at the
top musical colleges in the United States. Each is a soloist in his own right, and
gives the band a unique versatility.
The Tom Milo Big Band is available to travel, where our schedule
permits, and rates for nearby and distant jobs are available upon

"Dear Editor:
I spent one of the happiest afternoons of my 26-year sojourn in
Michigan City at Marquette Mall last Saturday. Tom Milo's Big Band performance was
superb, transporting many of us oldsters back to the romantic era of Glenn Miller.
The young man seated next to me for two hours, however, was about 18, and many other
teenagers seemed mesmerized by the beautiful, complicated, and subtle harmonies as well as
the danceable beat.
As a classically trained musician, I can tell you that each of
the band members is a fine soloist on his/her own; but their ensemble was perfect, each
person pulling back as his line was less important or taking the lead at each opportunity
to solo. Moreover, the players gave every indication that they were enjoying their
"togetherness" as much as we were.
I, for one, shall hope to hear them when they perform Friday
night at the Oktoberfest. Many thanks to Tom, his band and Marquette Mall for such
delightful entertainment."
