Chicagoan Bill Kokos fronts one of the hottest dance/show bands the Midwest has seen in decades.

With his electrifying style, diverse musical library, and warm personality, Bill Kokos will take you on a captivating journey down memory lane.

Kokos has assembled some of the finest musicians in the Chicagoland area.  The band consists of 3 saxes, 3 brass, 4 rhythm, and a female vocalist...with Bill Kokos on lead alto and clarinet.  A conga drum was added to enlighten the rhythm section.

The orchestra is now celebrating eleven years entertaining packed venues throughout Illinois, Indiana & Wisconsin.

Sally Roberts

With a background in country music...making it to Chicago's National Barn Dance, numerous Nashville recordings, and a Grammy nomination...Ms. Roberts has had no problem transitioning from country to big band.

Bill Kokos discovered his geatured vocalist dressed in a Minnie Mouse costume.  It must have been some kind of omen.  Today Ms. Roberts delights audiences with frequent costume changes, whether she's wearing one of her favorite long gowns, a hula skirt, or a clown costume.

But it's her distinctive style that you will enjoy most.   Her voice is "smooth as silk" and "clear as a bell" writes her fans.

Ozzie Nelson, Don Glasser, and Xavier Cugat are just a few of the maestros who have married their vocalists.  Add Lansing IL. Bandleader Bill Kokos to this group.  It all began in 1991 at a Halloween party, when Sally Roberts, dressed in a Minnie Mouse costume, sang a few tunes at the piano bar, while the Bill Kokos Orchestra was taking a break. Sally's vocal talent and stage presence caught Bill's eye and ear, who immediately signed her to sing with his band.  She has been a featured vocalist ever since.  During that period, Cupid entered the picture and Sally Roberts and Bill Kokos became man and wife at the Ingleside Inn, in Palm Springs, California.   Following the ceremony in a fairy tale setting of a flower-draped courtyard, the couple were whisked away in a white, horse-drawn wedding carriage to strains of Sally and Bill's favorite song, 'Till There Was You', in a scene straight out of the movies.
